With a history dating back to 1918, the company Ari evolved from manufacturing agricultural products to producing sawmill equipment as early as the 1930’s.

In 1964, Vislanda Sågverksmaskiner was founded and through a merger 2002 of the two previous competitors, the company AriVislanda AB was formed and a joint product program began to emerge.

Our headquarters and factory are today located in Vislanda Småland. There we have gathered all company functions such as R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, aftermarket, warehouse, sales, management, etc. under one roof. In addition to the operations in Vislanda, we also have a service office in Örnsköldsvik.

With over 100 years of history, we are today stronger than ever. Our installations are found all over the world and are known for their quality and reliability. AriVislanda offers everything from single machines for upgrading an existing saw line, to a complete turnkey saw line. Together with our partners, we can also offer everything from timber sorting to timber packages ready for delivery. We work in an innovative spirit and towards constantly improving ourselves and our products, in order to thereby contribute to increasing our customers’ profitability.

AriVislanda and Milltech become one

In 2024, AriVislanda merges with sister company Milltech. The companies have collaborated for a long time and see great opportunities to be able to deliver complete solutions to sawmills worldwide and create an even stronger offer, and take the next step in the market. 

The company name will be AriVislanda, but Milltech will remain as a brand. Even after the merger, AriVislanda will support and upgrade solutions for those who bought systems from Milltech before.

The merger will take place as soon as the Swedish Companies Registration Office has registered a decision on permission to execute the present merger plan, which is expected to take place sometime in the fall of 2024.
